Posting
1) How do i advertise on SGflea?
- On SGflea's main page, click on "join this community" (Banner right on top)

- Go to "Post an Entry" and there will be a drop-down menu at "Post to:", choose "sgflea" and you can start crafting your entry!

- Do ensure that you adhere to our community rules!

2) Why is the posting access disabled for new members from Sep 09?
Due to the increase in number of users creating multiple accounts.

3) There isnt any sgflea option on my dropdown list menu. Any ideas how i can solve this? How do I apply for posting access if I am a new member of sgflea?
For all existing members who joined before Sep 2nd 2009, posting access has already been enabled.

Moderation
4) Why does the message "ERROR: Moderation queue full" appear when Im trying to post? Is there something wrong with my entry?
No, there is nothing wrong with your post. It means that the queue of posts for approval/rejection is full - you have to wait till the mod clears old posts before you can. Just wait a couple of hours.

5) Why is the mod taking so long to approve my posts?!
Mods cannot be at the computer 24/7 just to approve/reject posts. Give us time.

LJ-Cut, Notifications, Entries Help
6) What is an LJ-cut?

7) Why am i not getting notifications when people comment on my post, etc?
If you are using Hotmail: Go to Options - Junk Emails - Block List
Check if LJ is under the block list. If it is, shift it over to safe list then it should work again.
Or
Go to LJ support(http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=115) & post a question or look through the forums. We do not know. We also cannot edit entries.

8) My post has just been approved but I cannot find my entry and is dated back to the previous entry which I have posted few days ago. What can I do?
Whenever you submit a post to Sgflea, make sure that your new entry is not exactly the same as the previous one so that when we approved your post, Livejournal will generate a new link instead of the old link which you have posted few days back. What you can do is to add a space, delete a space, type something/anything to make it different from your previous post which was already submitted in sgflea.

Feedback
9) I have a feedback page but I do not have any feedback at all. Is that possible?
No. You need to have a minimum of 1 positive feedback by a LJ user, no exceptions. You can get your feedback as a buyer or as a seller.

10) I have an anonymous feedback because she doesn't have any LJ account, is that fine?
No. Anonymous comments are deemed as invalid.

11) Why is it a must for every entry to be accompanied with a feedback link? Can this rule be more flexible?
In order to make Sgflea a safer place to shop at, it is recommended that you have a valid feedback link so that buyers can look through before dealing with you and you only need one positive feedback by a LJ user and you can start posting in sgflea.

12) I remembered seeing some posts approved without any feedback at all and they falsified their feedback count & their feedback page is empty.
Leave a comment under Irresponsible members, or email us directly at sgflea.mods@gmail.com.

13) I don't have any feedback at all.. Are there any ways that I can gain my feedback?
[1] You can start shopping at sgflea, buy from other sellers, and get them to leave you one.
[2] Post at other communities which don't require any feedback first, then come back to Sgflea and start posting when you gained a feedback elsewhere (:

404 Error
14) Where did my post go to? Why is it a 404 Error instead of my sales post? How can the mods delete my post without informing me?
It could have been deleted because of (any) of these reasons:
1) Lj cut is not working
2) Pictures outside lj cut exceeded 320 x 320 pixels each
3) More than 3 pictures outside lj cut
4) Feedback link not valid
5) Feedback count not stated - at least 1 positive is required, anonymous ones are void

Dead Sellers/Buyers
15) I just encountered a dead seller ABC, can i have her number/etc so i can report her?
SGflea does not register their members, so we dont keep any personal information. The best way is to post a warning entry abt the seller/buyer on SGflea & try to get some responses/evidence/etc from other members. You may also refer to the list of dead buyers/sellers we have over here: http://community.livejournal.com/sgflea/43144055.html

Sgflea shall not be held responsible for any liabilities arising in connection with any transaction between buyers and sellers. Buyers have absolute rights to reject/cancel any transactions after reading the sellers' feedbacks and also, Google is always your best friend :)

ahhh. i've been sent a message saying my post has been approved and successfully posted. however when i click the link provided it says "error no such enttry". and i cant find my post on sgflea either.

hi mods! sorry to trouble u.. for the past 2 days i've posted an entry each day.. the posts are approved but after awhile they seem to be deleted and it shows 'no such entry' when i try to return to the post.. i'm not sure why this happens.. i was wondering if there's anything wrong with the post?
